Approved housing developments in excess of 400 homes have been approved within a one mile radius of the site. At the intersection of Hoel Road and US Hwy 51 the City of Stoughton has submitted a request to the State of Wisconsin for installation of a stop light. Approximately one mile north of the site on Highway 51 preliminary approvals have been passed by the City of Stoughton for a Super Wal-Mart.
